  2. I was just released from county jail after serving 6 months, during my time there there was one girl who had scabies in December. I had no personal contact with her. However, I started itching @ March. I saw the Physician Assistant 3 times between March and April and was told that I didn’t have scabies because I didn’t have a rash and to stop being paranoid.. However, I would itch constantly. I was in agony and still am. I was given benadryl and hydrocortisone cream, which had little results. Well, I was released the other day and the itching is unbearable. I now have little dots all over my body, but they aren’t 3 in a row, they are speratick. Now my face and head are itching as well. Do you think I have scabies and the doctor just made a mistake and misdiagnosed me? Anyhow, I put vinegar on yesterday and today but the itching persists. I googled it and liked your page so if anyone can give me some advice that would be helpful. I also have children in my home so I’m just feeling scared and concerned. Should I just go to the ER to be on the safe side cause I’d hate for my kids to catch it, that is if it’s even scabies..thanks a bunch……IN AGONY?
