What You Will Need:

1 cup of broccoli (chopped)

2 pieces of large eggs (beaten)

Cooking spray

2 tablespoons of feta cheese (crumbled)

2 slices of rye or wheat bread (toasted)

¼ teaspoon of dried dill

What To Do:

1.)    Place your non-stick skillet over medium heat. Coat it with cooking spray then add broccoli and cook for 3 minutes.

2.)    In a small bowl, place feta, dill and egg. Mix everything well.

3.)    Add the egg mixture into the pan with broccoli. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on one side and flip then cook the other side for 2 minutes.

4.)    Serve warm with 2 pieces of toast on the side.

Lunch: Cuban Sandwich

The low-sodium ham and lean pork loin will provide you high quality proteins that you need to build muscles (and burn more fat!). On the other hand, the whole wheat baguette will have you feeling full for the rest of the day. That would mean effortless dieting for you!

What You Need:

1 piece of large Portobello mushroom (stems removed)

1 piece of small red onion (peeled and sliced)

1 tablespoon of light mayonnaise

1 tablespoon of zero fat plain Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon of sweet pickle relish

1 piece of baguette (cut in half)

1 slice of low-sodium ham

½ teaspoon of olive oil

2 ounce of sliced lean pork loin

What To Do:

1.)    Remove the black gills of the mushroom.

2.)    Place a griddle over medium heat. Add mushrooms, onion and oil. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes with continuous stirring. Once the onions began to stick, add 1 tablespoon of water.

3.)    Spread the mayo, relish and yogurt in the baguette slices. Top it off with the ham and pork slices.

4.)    Spoon onion on top. Cut mushroom in half then arrange it on top of the onion layer. Cover it with the other baguette.

5.)    Place the sandwich in a sandwich press and cook for a minute. Serve warm.

Dinner: Barbecue Turkey Burger

Turkey is healthier than beef and is an excellent source of lean protein. It will help you to stay fuller for a long time and will provide you the amino acids that you muscle needs to grow.

What You Need:

1 pound of turkey

½ teaspoon of paprika

1 piece of garlic clove (minced)

¼ teaspoon of cumin (ground)

A pinch of salt

4 slices of grilled sweet onion

¼ teaspoon of black pepper (freshly ground)

4 pieces of toasted burger buns

¼ cup of barbecue sauce

What To Do:

1.)    Place garlic, cumin, paprika and turkey meat in a bowl. Mix everything well.

2.)    Using your hands, form 4 turkey patties (4-inch in size). Add salt and pepper to taste.

3.)    Set your grill to medium-high. Cook each side for 7 minutes.

4.)    Insert patties in the buns and spoon toppings on top. Serve warm.

Dessert: Grapefruit, Banana and Honey Salad

Just because you are trying to lose weight doesn’t mean you can  no longer eat dessert! This tangy fruit salad is the perfect fat-burning dessert for lunch or dinner. What You Need:

1 jar (24 ounce) of red grapefruit sections (refrigerated)

1 tablespoon of freshly chopped mint

1 cup of banana (sliced)

1 tablespoon of honey

What To Do:

1.)    Drain ¾ of the juice of the red grapefruit sections. Keep the remaining ¼.

2.)    Place the remaining juice, grapefruit sections and the other ingredients in a bowl.

3.)    Toss gently to evenly coat the ingredients.

4.)    Serve it right away or you can put it in the refrigerator to chill.
